I hope for nothing more than that Canada can remain a free and democratic country, to be a golden standard for nations worldwide seeking freedom. I think a change of tactics are necessary. Efforts and funds might prove to be better used in a public education program that promotes alternatives to abortion. Liberalism and feminist organizations muddy the debate on abortion by claming it is a woman’s right to chose. The LBGT community has been hijacked into supporting abortion by linking abortion with equality over sexual orientation. These are two different issues. Many in the LBGT community oppose the right of abortion on demand but their voices are lost in the noise made by the group within the LGBT community that align with the belief that abortion on demand paralells female and male equality. Our abortion laws fail to recognize any rights of the father or unborn child. Legal challenges to this failure have been few and far between. Pro abortionists will quickly infuse the occurence of rape into the argument however stats show that rape accounts for a very low percentage of abortions. Trying to force our perspective on abortion on demand on the PC Party or any other political party is no different than the feminist wings of the Liberals and NDP forcing thier views and interpretations on their MPs and party members. I do not think this is a successful strategy. It is the public that needs to have a better understanding of the issue and a far better understanding of equality and justice. By dismissing any right to equality, justice and ownership of the father and unborn child, the law is seriously flawed.

I am extremely displeased that the CPC and the National Council have chosen to disqualify a potential candidate due to his pro-life views. While you attempt to woo the social conservative vote, claim to want to remove the “gate-keepers” that impair full participation of some groups of Canadians in national social & political interactions, claim to support freedom of speech, religion, and thought, every decision like this proves that you do NOT support the voices and values of millions of Canadians whose votes you seek. You err in thinking that the people will simply follow you because Pierre is “better than” Trudeau. If you ignore and marginalize a substantial portion of the population, you are in fact, just like Trudeau, and will receive comparable response.

It is incredibly anti democratic and arrogant how some decisions are being done in the Conservative Party. You need to work in a manner that is coherent with principles, traditional moral values and democratic consideration of the grassroots. You can still change gears, otherwise you’re destined to disappear from the political horizon for losing us

The assault on true freedom in this country is systemic. There is no true conservatism where there is no unapologetic defense of life, family, traditional marriage, and freedom of speach and of the press. The Conservative Party of Canada is indicted also.

It seems with the interference in the Oxford by election that we have more of politicians not respecting the people! I am so sick of this arrogance!

Erin O’Toole has not represented the conservative party well. We want a leader like Pierre who stands up for the Canadian people.

This last election was the first time in my life that I didn’t vote Conservative. If O’Tool is still the leader unfortunately my vote will again NOT go to Conservative…I am praying that you guys make the right decision and vote him out. He does not represent the Conservative values of this party. Praying wisdom for you guys!

I have 0 confidence in Mr Otoole, he is so far left with 0 grass roots conservative values, I vote for absolutld no confidence, including our MP Rosemarie Falk,

Mr O’Toole showed no opposition to any of the Liberal agenda. Totally ignored true Conservative values and threw many supporters under the bus. I can’t rally my support behind someone I can’t trust .
It’s time to look very seriously at alternatives to the CPC..
If you remove him , be very careful and selective whom you chose as leader.

Erin O’Toole has not upheld our Constitution with the passion we need from an Opposition leader. That is the first priority. MICHELLE FERRERI please vote to remove him.

As a member of the Conservative Party I am not in favor of Mr. O’Toole expelling David Sloane from the Caucus of the Conservative Party. At this time it is very important to stand up to the liberals and not make an issue of this and distract from the egregious policies and programs of the Prime Minister the Liberal party. If Mr. O’Toole wishes to take a vote to expel David Sloane he is embarking on a slippery slope of “Cancel Culture” from which there is no return. I would hope that you would vote against it for the sake of the future of the Conservative Party.
