Keep Patterk in Cabinet!
We, the undersigned draw the attention of the Legislative Assembly of Nunavut to the following:
Whereas, the freedom of expression is guaranteed in Section 2 (b) of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms;
Whereas, Patterk Netser was duly elected by the residents of Aivilik with the fourth-highest number of votes of any MLA in Nunavut;
Whereas, Premier Joe Savikataaq removed Patterk Nester's cabinet responsibilities for expressing a different opinion than his regarding abortion;
Whereas, Premier Joe Savikataaq is seeking for Patterk Netser to be removed from the Cabinet of Nunavut;
Therefore, we, the undersigned petitioners, call upon Legislative Assembly of Nunavut to:
restore Patterk Netser's previous cabinet responsibilities and to retain him in the Cabinet of Nunavut.
